The Final of the National Al-Qur'an Musabaqah for Adults 1445 Hijrah/2024 continued last night, for the second night at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre in Berakas. Gracing the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the Musabaqah Executive Committee; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism as well as members of the Musabaqah Executive Committee.
The ceremony commenced with the mass recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran bin Haji Kunchang.
6 participants presented their reading respectively on the second night of the musabaqah. They were Pengiran Muhd Amirul Aiman bin Pengiran Haji Marjuki; Awang Haji Mohammad bin Ali; Awang Haji Hazwan bin Haji Salim, Dayangku Siti Ummi Syazana binti Pengiran Haji Marjuki; Dayang Najla Sabreena binti Haji Abd Rajid and Dayang Nur Amal Atiqah alias Aida binti Haji Sudirman.
